The story takes place in 1920. The director of a martial arts school in Tianjin passed away. In order to get his son Shen An (played by Xiang Zuo) to leave the martial arts industry, the old director found a job in a bank for him and decided to let his eldest disciple Qi Quan (played by Andy On) take over. Unexpectedly, Qi Quan's various new practices broke the rules of the martial arts industry and caused unrest. The older generation invited Shen An back, intending to force Qi Quan to quit the martial arts industry by means of a martial arts competition.
